More Details
The Grade Store is an imposing complex of warehouses originally built around three large quadrangles. Originally constructed in stages between 1806 & 1813 and inspired by the great naval storehouses of the previous century, the original Grand Store was expensively built in brick dressed with Purbeck stone and supplied the British Army with everything from bootlaces to horse harnesses and entrenching tools.
Building 36 forms the central and, for many, the most prestigious part of the Grand Store complex. This Grade II Listed building has been fully restored to offer a diverse range of studios, 1, 2 & 3 beds, each offering a high degree of original features. Ornate exposed brickwork, oak columns & beams, large sash windows – for many, this building has it all.
With solid wood flooring, blending perfectly with the original beams and exposed brickwork which form a prominent feature throughout this apartment, the reception benefits from two large south facing windows and a high ceiling, which create a wonderful sense of light and space.
A stylish, contemporary, open plan kitchen comes with ceramic flooring, a range of integrated appliances and, sky light above, dropped into a quirkily designed pitched, exposed timber roof.
The bedroom offers exposed brickwork on two sides, with original sash windows providing a dual aspect over Cadogan Road below and Wellington Park beyond.
Ample storage is provided in the form of a large, extended height, fitted wardrobe in the bedroom, however, if that’s not enough for you, this apartment also comes with the added benefit of an extensive loft space.
The bathroom is finished with slate grey tiling and a contemporary three piece suite.

Area
A riverside development spanning 76 acres, The Royal Arsenal is a former munitions factory & storage facility with a history dating back to 1671, that is being tastefully transformed to provide a blend of converted & new build residential properties, together with a central open space, bars, restaurants and an hotel.
Beautifully landscaped, the builder has taken great care to create a development that is a pleasure to live in, rather than yet another sterile 'stack of boxes'. It retains a real sense of community yet retains a high degree of peace and tranquility, away from the 'big smoke'.
Situated east of Greenwich, adjacent to Woolwich Town Centre (offering an array of main street shopping, including Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's and, a vibrant street market) the development is easily reached by road & rail. The station is no more than a short stroll away, which provides direct (main line) access to the City (London Bridge / Cannon Street) in as little as 20 minutes and the West End (Charing X) in 30 minutes.
The daily commute has improved even further, with the recent opening of a new DLR station (adjacent to the mainline) at Woolwich which provides access to London City Airport in 5 minutes and Canary Wharf & Stratford in under 20 minutes.
As far as leisure is concerned, a short ride in a cab will take you to nearby Blackheath, Greenwich or, the O2 - where you will be spoilt for choice in terms of food, drink and nightlife.
As an alternative to the train or car, the Thames Clipper riverbus service docks immediately adjacent to the development and provides additional links with The O2, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, Blackfriars, The Southbank (Tate Modern) and beyond.
