East of Central London, south of the Thames, below the line of London City Airport lies the 76 acres of land now known as the Royal Arsenal.

Shown in The A - Z as a void of disused land named 'West Thamesmead' on the border of Woolwich Town Centre, the development is easily reached by a number of means.

Gunnery Terrace is a converted warehouse building situated on the corner of Arsenal Way and Duke of Wellington Avenue.

Negotiations are in progress to extend the route currently operated by Thames Clippers from The Savoy in Westminister to Masthouse Terrace in Docklands, to include the Royal Arsenal.
