The Chemical Laboratory

The first of the historic buildings to be converted at the Royal Arsenal by Berkeley Homes.

Dating back to 1864, it was originally used by the War Department Chemist, however, was subsequently designated as the photographic section of the War Department.

Comprising ten individually designed one, two & three bed apartments ranging from 785 sq.ft. to as large as 1974 sq.ft accessed from three separate entrances around the building, each is unique in terms of design and layout, offering an array of exposed brickwork, original sash windows  and, invariably, high ceilings, complimenting the high standard of modern fit that one expects from Berkeley’s
